Going to bed. Max has caused way more pain than joy over the last decade or so (starting with him shutting out the Mets in Harvey's last game pre-TJS in 2013), so I don't necessarily expect to wake up to good news, but I'm certainly hoping that it's done by the morning

 

Wonder how high the Dodgers are willing to go for Max

Not going to lie I thought I would wake up to Mets/Scherzer deal. I feel like the longer this goes on the more likely they are being used to drive up the price for the Dodgers and he’s going to sign elsewhere.

 

The only reason this thought is even a thing is because it happened once with Bauer. I’m not saying it won’t happen, but i can’t believe how many people are defaulting to this line of thought.
