Yes, you can. You can go into the business, press left on the D-pad and select the villager you want to change under "change member". You don't even have to be working to change.

I had Bangle working in the cafe, but she got sick one day and the game swapped her out for Biskit. And at the restaurant, the game had Ed working as the sous chef, but I swapped him for Portia.

 

Also, once you've completed the main storyline in the DLC and unlock the DJ KK concert, you can go back and redecorate your villagers' homes.

 

I finally got 5 stars on my island. Hot damn.

 

Found some packs of series 5 at target yesterday. I now have all the villagers from series 5 except Dom and Reneigh. I just bought them on ebay for $5 total lol. No more pack hunting for me.

 

I ordered 5 online from Target the last two days so I'm excited for those to show up

So what are the sought after cards in series 5?

 

As far as villagers go most people seem to want Shino, Sasha, Raymond, and Ione. They seem pretty easy to get though as long you can find enough packs.

Sherb, Judy, and Marlo seem pretty popular too

 

I figured there’s not really like super rarities or anything like that but I know there’s those villagers people love. I was just wondering in case there’s ones that I’d eventually have to buy as singles if I want a complete set. I opened 5 packs yesterday and I got all the ones you mentioned except Shino.

 

Shino seems to be the majority's #1 villager from this series so her card could be a little pricy.

I have to beat the dlc, I didn’t know you can customize your regular islands villagers homes after that. The only downside is that they do that after you’ve won the game so there’s nothing left to do lol

 

i've already unlocked the ending, but there are still vacation homes I want to fill. I'm currently decorating Shino's home and I got Tiansheng too. I just want cute af villagers vacationing but there are some I want to kick out but can't.

 

I didn’t get as many packs as everyone else did, I probably got the last few they had left. I got raymond and shino so I’m very happy. The only character I actually want now is lone and I already have her on my island, I have filberts amiibo so I have to have both eventually lol glad I got almost everything in just a few packs and didn’t need a million of them haha one pack actually had all new characters which was really surprising. I’ve seen people get no new characters which is wild.

I really hope a later update lets you kick them off the vacation island, I *know* you can just add another villager on top of them, but I want them gone, I don't want that "..." on the map lol

 

I adore Tiansheng and Judy is one of my island villagers that I found.

 

I'm annoyed that I still have not unlocked the wheat start for flour because EVERY DAMN RECIPE NEEDS FLOUR AND I HAVE NONE.

After literally a whole month of checking Leif's shop and the Kapp'n islands, I finally got wheat starts from Leif last night.

 

Same! Planted those so fast. I had a plot just waiting for them.
