Loving Halo Infinite… some of my favorite maps in the series since H3.

Strongholds on Recharge is top-tier… plays so good.

 

Bought a Series S. Incredibly stoked to try out Halo, Forza and Back for Blood. I haven’t played any Halo game since Reach, but I’m very much looking forward to Infinite.

 

Apparently Infinite is my most played game of 2021 so I guess I just did not game at all this year lol

In Infinite are there any maps from previous entries? I saw one that resembled Zanzibar

 

I feel like the gameplay ends up being as easy as you make it, in terms of the hack-and-slash gameplay. There were times where I took the "anime af" approach of "okay I know I can kill this but how do I make this as flashy as possible" lmao, and that added. Also had a good time with the DLC gauntlets, especially the one in the desert that puts repeated restrictions on your character as you fight through it (as homage to the people in Replicant) which forces you to think a bit more creatively on how to use your tools.

I will say the more games I play the harder it gets to go back to Automata's gameplay though, I do still think it's flawed. But I do think the game more than makes up for it.

 

Maybe it's placebo but I liked using the larger weapons more in Replicant than Automata tbh

Probably is placebo though haha. It's a buggy mess in general so I still do like Automata more

 

I tried them in Replicant and didn’t like it, but I also didn’t like it in Automata haha. The bigger weapons feel so clunky in both to me

 

Nope, no remakes… a couple of the Big Team maps feel a bit like Valhalla from H3, but that’s about it.

The 4v4 maps really nail that old-school vibe too, but are all completely new. I think that’s my biggest takeaway honestly… they feel like Halo maps for the first time in a long time.

 

Idk why but they felt really comfortable in Replicant to me while in Automata they felt extremely clunky and pointless

 

Yeah I never used any of the heavier weapons in Replicant either. I don't like to move slowly in games like that at all.

 

I feel like the marketing and the name itself didn't help the game any.

 

I was just on NintendoLife and several people totally thought this was the remake of the original and not a new game. This was the game's target audience.

 

I’ve been dancing around getting PS+. Might be time to take the leap.

Godfall

 

Was godfall any good.

 

Not really. But worth a play if it’s on Plus

 

Definitely not for Godfall but I can’t pass up a Lego game AND a Souls-Like.

 

Beat Disco Elysium. Man what an incredible story, and ending. Several twists to the very end.

 

Black Friday Sales have been great this year. Picked up Life Is Strange, Hot Wheels, Riders Republic, BOTW, Mario Golf, All Star Brawl and a Series S. It’s going to be a great December. Any suggestions on must play Gamepass titles besides Halo, Forza and B4B?

 

IGN gave Halo's multiplayer a 9. I like the reviewer, but I just don't think that's a justified score for how unbalanced the guns feel and the shoddy battle pass.
