When he was doing well here he was so much fun and genuinely hilarious. City broke him when he struggled in the playoffs unfortunately

 

I fully support cementing the rotation before anything else.

Pretty sure Matz is made of glass rather than cement. A glass rotation is far less appealing

(Although, looking at it, Matz has actually been comparatively healthy in relation to the rest of the Mets rotation recently)

At this point I don't think Matz is any worse than what else is left. A disaster. The way we've been run past 3 years, absolute disaster.

We were always going to lose Noah for nothing, it was either gonna be a one year deal and he walks in 2023 or he just walks now. Wheeler, maybe a different story but i don’t quite remember what his trade market was and to be very honest i still think he got overpaid.

 

They weren’t always going to lose him for nothing but nothing changed and it was same shit, different day again so he wanted out.

Noah sure, but I was always angry with wheeler. That stupid session where instead of trading our assets when we were out of it at the deadline, we traded FOR stroman instead.

I hated that cause I knew their contracts. Wheeler was about to be a FA and Noah/stroman were only a year removed. So I was confused about the plan.

Not saying we could've gotten that much at the time for either, but I always thought something better nothing, and in the end we could always resign them anyways.

Now I look at the free agent market and im depressed.
