Man, a lot of you hate movies. What do you do for dates then?

Movies are awful dates. Hey, let's go sit in a dark room and not talk to or look at each other.

 

Not first dates, but maybe like, 4th dates. Movies are acceptable 4th dates, right?

Well shit, maybe that's why I'm single.

 

I mostly watch scary movies. I don't appreciate film in a way I prob should. I get annoyed at movie dates cause guys just wanna make out sometimes and I wanna watch them. Like get off my face, I genuinely wanted to watch Scream and/or Jurassic Park.

 

I feel like I'd be the same with Netflix and Chill, like excuse me I'm watching Clueless, no I'm not being way harsh

 

the last movie date I went on was to Jungle Book.

we mostly made small comments about how good the movie was during it but we basically didn't talk at all.

right after we sat in the parking lot and talked for like an hour.

 

Yea, to be fair, it depends what you do before or after the movie if it's a date. But generally they are bad dates. You don't really get to know the other person that much of you just go see a movie.

 

they're good as a part of a date imo, because after the movie you can talk about it. Plus anyone I date should be into movies

No like watching at their house. I was like 9 when those movies were in theaters!

edit: okay I was not 9. I was an infant/toddler. That's nice. Makes me feel youthful.

 

Oh I was thinking of movie dates as in going to the movies. It didn't strike me as odd that you named older movies because like I can see movies like that at Alamo Drafthouse

 

I'm excited to have a theater here that takes debit cards. Get outta here with ur fancy theaters that show a variety of movies!!

 

my local movie theater shows a lot of plays and I'm like ok cool but show me the old classic movies.

I just want to watch Jurassic park or jaws in movie theaters for once.

I really do not like talking about a film right after seeing it.

 

I didn't see Jaws until last year during its anniversary run, so I got to see it in the theater for the first time

Yo, Alamo Drafthouse is dope! They opened up one in Kalamazoo like a year before I moved to Lansing and it was awesome.

 

I think if someone took me on a picnic I'd wonder why we were eating outside when we could be eating inside

 

If you were sitting on the water with the best view of the city skyine and planes landing up close overhead and still had that opinion, I would judge you hard.
