Just amazing, mike talks about himself the whole time lol

 

That's classic schmoozer though. He was like that the whole show. Every single guest woukd come on, talk about how great somers is, yet somers would ask about THEM the whole time! Hah he couldn't take the accolades.... haha it's like Steve!! This is about you for once. Its okay!

I miss listening to the old school WFAN hosts like Mike & The Mad Dog, Mac and Sid, and Steve Sommers working in the summers in high school.

 

Does this mean we officially can stop using WAR as the end all be all lol

 

That is only gonna make irrational yankees fans complain he isn’t treated better lol

 

Idk if you've met irrational Yankee fans (see: twitter) but they think he's the worst Yankee of all time lol

 

so many yankee fans i know fucking hate gardner lol its wild

 

Really? I feel like a year ago they were calling up sports shows yelling about how underrated he is lol

I think that was after he had that meltdown tho

 

There was 2 or 3 years where my favorite players were Gardner and Betances lol

Like should he ever be batting in the top of the lineup? Course not but idk how this fan base doesn't get that they've needed him the last few years. I mean they literally have called up outfielders I never heard of lol

 

Injuries really suck

 

Especially if a team has a stacked farm system

 

So which SS the Rangers gonna sign?

 

Correa seen with Hinch, feeling like that signing is inevitable

 

How do you feel about that?

 

Obviously mixed. I like Hinch, he’s done an excellent job here already. Correa… still pretty frustrated with the whole Astros thing, but I can’t deny that would be a massive signing for them team that desperately needs a star, as well as a shortstop. I don’t hate him as much as Altuve so I guess there’s that. I won’t be getting a Correa jersey if he signs, but I’m not going to be mad at the team for making a big move at a position of dire need.

 

If i never heard the phrase “the back of his baseball card” ever again it would be too soon.

 

Damn, I loved following his progress and watching his first start after 3+ years of back-to-back-to-back injuries. Sad the Rays couldn’t find a spot for him.

Wonder if this was just to protect a rule 5 guy or if this is part of something bigger.

 

Well, we had, I don't know, half a day of the Mets behaving themselves like a normal team. Can't be particularly surprised about Keith though
