This is my go to thread for generic sports talk, so bare with me. I'm going to vent.

Just listened to final episode, final words, of the new york sports talk legend, Steve Sommers....

What can i say . Im heartbroken. The era is truly over. One of my favorites and also the last of the wfan core to say farewell. The fan has gotten me through so many tough times in life, and the schmoozer was definitely the one voice I could count on most (who else can you count on at 3am lol). The man was the definition of humble. He loved to have fun with his callers and was...he was the schmoozer. Timeless. Nothing better than turning on the radio after a cowboys or Yankees loss. A gem.

Hes been on for 34 years. I am 35. Sigh

Anyways. Just sad. If I was drinking, forget about it, this post would've been a million pages long haha. What is it already
