Work from work Wednesday. Kill me

 

We currently work one day a week in the office. Still do our meeting via Teams. It is probably my least productive day of the week because it ends up being just banter between our team.

 

Soooooo how likely is it this Rittenhouse trial goes to shit?

 

Extremely likely, it really already has

 

Ehhh, they're probably so embarrassed that they're playing it off as a bit.

 

While I wouldn't be surprised that they're that dumb, it did feel like a bit/acting as I was watching it.

 

Far too often I think about when we were in the middle of last year and all kinds of industries were being forced to go virtual for often the first time and there was an odd brand of hope at it being shown to be sustainable and maybe it would become the new norm. How foolish to hope haha.

 

Guys, admit it. The Right is now good at comedy.

wait you guys got to work from home?
i've had to go in every day during this and the most we got was plastic sneeze guards and shirts at christmas that say "i'm an essential worker"

Trying to decide how much of a fuss to make after getting an email this morning that said, without actually saying it, that'd we're getting 1/2 a day less of paid holiday for Christmas this year than usual and what's stated on our company handbook.

 

The fuck?

 

For all those that WFH, what are some essentials for your workspace? I'm badly in bed of a decent ergonomic chair if anyone has any suggestions

 

For me personally I like having a big wide table with lots of space; being right next to a big window is nice as well, so I can get natural light bathing me while I work. And having the desk next to my bed, so I can take a quick short nap if needed
