The back of the Sparrow-themed shirt says "Big thief: live from Eden, January Fourth 2021 B.c."

Think this is a hint at some sort of session release or just a reference to the Sparrow lyrics with a random date? I believe they were all in separate places on this date and pre-pandemic they didn't have any show announced. Would love to have a live release with this design as the album cover

Pretty crazy. I think he just went to Long Pond for a bit and Aaron had him play on a bunch of different stuff.

lol i am such a fanatic for these guys, reading that blurb almost kinda made me teary-eyed. seems like this is going to be a fuckin ambitious, full-circle, career-spanning reach for something grander than usual from them and i don't know if any of us are ready.
