It’s actually been fairly easy for me to refrain from Demi the last few albums. Hard to think of someone whose career I loved at the outset who’s disappointed me more.

I don't think she has any idea how she can possibly tour behind Lover/Folklore/Evermore and maybe including Taylor's versions any more than we do haha

 

Weekend “greatest hits” festival. Night 1 is albums 1-3, Night 2 is 4-6, Night 3 is 7-9. Hire me, Taylor.

 

I would love to see her do a smaller club tour for just Folklore/evermore

 

A small club tour is just not possible in my opinion, as cool as it would be. She would have to do like 10 dates minimum and it would probably just be a huge headache for smaller venues.

Lots of musicians would probably be fucked over in the process because like I said she would have to do numerous dates and that would screw over other musicians/bands who otherwise would be playing at the venue(s) she plays. Aside from that, getting tickets would be literally impossible and in the end lots of fans would end up without tickets who, if it was a normal stadium tour, would be able to go. Lastly, and not to generalize, but these venues would have to deal with Swifties who as we all know can be crazy and cause unnecessary stress and headaches for venue workers.

Now, Taylor doing something like three nights in an arena (slightly more intimate than a stadium) is possible and would not be a terrible alternative.

I was thinking about this yesterday, lol. I’d love a summer tour from her where it’s about her greatest hits + deep cuts, without a focus on any particular album, but limited to what’s for sale/streaming in a version she owns. So, no self-titled, Speak Now, 1989 (besides “Wildest Dreams”), or reputation, unless she releases another one in the spring.

If she and her band were comfortable with this, and she found a way to work it into the production side of the show, it’d also be fun to have a pool of songs that are ready but aren’t guaranteed to be played live, and have a section of the show that’s determined by voting. Maybe something like, whoever buys the presale tickets for that show or whatever can go online and vote for a certain number of songs?
