Looking at his production discography, it looks like he’s doing way more writing than producing. Maybe he’s not available state-side right now.

 

Jesus Christ, “I Bet You Think About Me” is absolutely titanic. I’d move to Mars if someone wrote that absolute poison arrow about me.

I only know Snow Patrol because of Chasing Cars being in Grey’s Anatomy haha that song was my go-to sad jam growing up

 

I like the ATW hoodie, but $70? yikes

 

Sadie Sink did incredible. I wanted more of that. The ending was a touch too cheesy hallmark for me, but overall enjoyable.

Final Straw does some really interesting things in kind of intersecting between indie/garage rock territory and the obvious arena chops they had. Eyes Open is a little more straightforward “We are trying to be U2 now,” but has killer hooks and some of the best arena rock songs of the 2000s.

 

I have been working all day and still haven't finished the album yet so I may be hasty here but what is this absolute IMPOSTER version of 22??? Wtf it's like an entirely different song to me. I have clearly listened to Red way more than fearless because the Lil fearless differences didn't rly bother me, but these Red differences are like a personal attack!! It's like uncanny Valley but the auditory version?? Idk man I'm losing it over here

 

I could be dramatic here. This is all subject to change lmao but it's so trippy hearing the songs almost identitical but just barely off. My mind isn't processing this rn and needs to get over this before I have an opinion

First impression on these re-recordings is that Fearless feels much more consistent but Red has much higher highs

Snow Patrol’s “Run” has been in more movies/commercials than “Stay Stay Stay”… to wrap up that discourse/reference an absolutely fantastic song, haha.

 

The run of "Spitting Games," "Chocolate," and "Run" on Final Straw is so insanely great, haha. One of the first times I can remember a bit of album sequencing knocking me on my ass.

Anyway, yeah, Snow Patrol is the bomb.
