Series X has been readily available via All Access at Best Buy GameStop and Walmart the last week or so

 

That’s what it is good for, a side console lol

 

Played GTA: San Andreas a bit yesterday. Plays good. Too dark though especially anytime its anything other than broad daylight. Still playable though. Game play is fine. I haven't played this at all since it came out. Playing on Series X and its crazy I have to pick "performance or fidelity" modes in 20 year(albeit redone) old games. Playing at 60 FPS is so off putting though haha. The nostalgia is gone playing like that. Being playing on fidelity mode to keep the FPS lower to mimic closer to the original feel.

 

series s is still weird for me as a one x owner. like it runs at poorer resolution than one x but its got the ssd. its pretty confusing for me to figure out which is more worth it.

 

Just wanna get home and play forza

 

Yeah exactly. Well, the S gets games the One X doesn’t, but I basically only play Apex currently, so if I upgrade, I want all the power.

 

Yeah I personally don't understand the appeal of the Series S other than for, like, idk, casual players who only want an inexpensive box to run Fortnite and Call of Duty for the next few years. PS5 and Series X are the "real" current gen consoles.

 

I caved and bought a Series S a few months back because after a year of waiting I gave up trying to believe I'll just run into a Series X. It's been great so far, though the lack of memory is an issue especially since you can't play games off a portable HD like you could in the past.

 

I still can’t believe they used the gta as mobile port as the basis for the game

anyways rockstar pulled the trilogy from everywhere on pc so that’s how we doing

 

Yeah I would have done the same if I wanted to play a new game

 

it’s been 1 year since ps5 dropped

I love my PS5. I just wish PS Now didn’t blow in comparison to the Gamepass. I honestly play Apex more than anything and hope EA releases a next gen version soon. Once I get ahead after the Holidays, I’ll be looking hard for a Series X. I haven’t played Halo since Halo 3, but I really want to play the new one. That plus the continual release of games on Gamepass on release day is too much for me to pass up.

 

…and it’s only going to get better!

 

I hope they don’t cause I can’t find a Series X or a 120hz TV that fits me and I don’t want to be left behind lol

 

I’m sure they could have both versions working at the same time lol The new map is enough to get me by for awhile regardless. Absolutely love Storm Point.

 

Yeah but I’d rather they not split players
base but I also don’t want to have to play against 120fps players

 

Storm Point is good but it hasn’t blown me away like Olympus. It feels a little too familiar to me for some reason.
