I can't find the tweet now but he did say at some point that he's going to play arenas in 2022. Sounds a little ambitious but I might be underestimating how big his comeback has been

That's boomer mindset right there for you, thinking everyone cares enough you have to enough a show at a press conference.

    Things have changed.

Lol so true. He plays enough that it's not like ... a special occasion every time he plays a show. It's annoying.

  4. I think the MinuteMaid show is an extension of the MLB Ballparks tour he did recently, so it's more about that series than "omg Billy Joel is coming to Houston."

The Offspring always has been fairly creative with these tour videos. Noodles actually has some on-screen charisma.

Hilarious that Kings Of Leon and Rise Against can't each sell out a 4k capacity venue in the 3rd biggest market in the continent.

  8. A US run of this would be delightful.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Fuck yeah. Just scored my tickets to Pavement next fall and my gf surprised me with tix to the TSSF/Joyce Manor co-headliner. 2022’s gonna rule

True though the double header of them + Chevelle (two hometown bands) should still rope in some people.

FF's popularity in North America has definitely waned over the past 10 years but they can still do 2k clubs in most places,

My excitement either way is untouchable. Sadly they lost two members, but hopefully this band continues to be stellar.

Fuck Travis Scott, this has gone on too long. His encouragement of craziness at shows is reckless and his VERY young crowd can’t comprehend what is acceptable behavior.

8 people dead, including a fucking 10yo! He tweeted earlier in the day encouraging people to jump the gates (he quickly scrubbed those after he got off stage)…he could clearly see the multiple ambulances in the crowd and continued performing, at one point encouraging the fans who were dancing ON TOP of the ambulances that were trying to get through the crowd.

You can see on the live stream, someone from his team whisper in his ear when Drake was getting ready to come out. The production team and Travis knew what was going kn and they let it continue…disgusting.

Coachella needs to drop him today.

Maybe I missed it but TSSF/Joyce Manor/Microwave/Mom Jeans is supposed be a whole tour, not just the few shows announced? How many shows are people thinking?

As someone who was there… he wasn’t alerted the seriousness of anything until late and they told him to cut his set 30-35 minutes short.

Blaming him for this is not the move. People pass out in crowds, get taken out for injury, etc. all the time. He didn’t know how serious anything was until late. The surge of people moving forward is what caused most of this and all the cardiac arrests that happened is alarming since I saw groups of dudes selling pills to KIDS there. People thinking laced pills caused a lot of the cardiac issues.

Sad situation all around though, I saw a girl being carried out and now knowing she might’ve been dead is pretty rough.

if he was encouraging people to jump gates and that were on ambulances, he’s no different than Durst at woodstock
