Bafleck Batman (even in his Mad Max get up)
    Deadshot (Film Will Smith version)
Rama (Main character from the Raid)
    Michonne (Sword included please)
    Black Widow (Film version)

I don't think I'd even have to lift a finger...

I'd argue Beatrix Kiddo (kill bill) over Michonne, but that's just me.

ahhhh, good one. I agree. I just wanted to cover all my bases on sword, guns and hand to hand fighters. The Bride would totally own Michonne though, so I'd switch that. As long as I don't have to do anything and relax the whole apocalypse lol

Are either of the women for procreation reasons? Gotta remember that too!

So what type of apocalyptic world are we talking? Zombies, nuclear, disease?

this is great news. i wanna know more about your experience but i also want to know 0% about the story itself.

Doesn't matter even if they were, I wouldn't stack up to those guys so I'd be out of luck lol

And I'm good no matter what the type of Apocalypse it is. I'm sure Mr. Wayne has a bunker so we don't even need to leave.

Batcave. But it will be dark as shit when the power goes out.

Zombies would probably be the "funnest" if you were making a movie with these characters.

Even just a nuclear or disease scenario it would be fun with those characters, like Book of Eli type setting. You still have to worry about other people no matter what.

True. I think The Road would be the least appealing because like 99% of everyone is just dead.

I have a feeling Batman would still want to keep his identity secret even in this world, which would be hilarious.

How does everyone feel about one of my favorites, Silent Hill? (please don't bring up the sequel)

That fucking siren creeped the shit out of me. Also the skin twisting and ripping was brutal.

Besides those things, I liked it enough to say that it was the best movie based on a video game. Street Fighter is a second, a CLOSE second.

Yeeeeee! I loved that the movie didn't go with jump scares but instead just let the creepy creatures just freak everyone out. I love the director, hopes he does more stuff. Brotherhood of the Wolf and his adaption of Beauty and the Beast are good.

On a podcast/show a friend and I do, we did a 16 bracket of Horror movies and movie deaths. This movie was on both of them. The barb wire going into and splitting the main villain apart almost won for best death.

SO excited to hear this - I absolutely love the original, one of my all time favorite horror movies, so really hoping to make a rare trip to the theater for this.

A Conversation with David and Shawn. It's newer and completely unprofessional, I can't say I recommend it and am surprised we have any views lol. That's why I didn't link it. The Episode I mentioned with the Horror and death bracket I'm hoping to have up this week, I can post it here when its up if anyone wants.

The protagonist, if you can call her that, is completely irredeemable and awful. The plot is nonsensical. The ending is chaotic, probably the only entertaining portion of the movie. I guess the director is trying to create this whole new sub genre called Bizarro horror or something like that where the film is essential weird just to be weird. After this film, I'm just not on board.

This is exactly how I feel about Neon Demon.

I still need to see this. I've loved Refn's previous work. Even if the movie isn't coherent, I at least trust him to make the movie visually appealing. Antibirth has really no qualities that would allow me to recommend it to others.

I've heard the argument that if you've seen Starry Eyes, you've seen Neon Demon.

Oh, visually, it's stunning. That I cannot deny, but as you said about Antibirth, it seems to me like it's weird just to be weird. I'd love Refn to come back with something comparable to the quality of Drive.

I thought Starry Eyes was a lot more coherent and interesting, though the films really aren't super comparable story-wise.

haha, ok, all I needed to hear.

Starry Eyes wasn't very good until the last few minutes.

Yea it started off slow, but the premise was entirely more interesting.
