I'm curious how the remix album even came about, he's not a high profile artist and they're not exactly your typical songs to remix

 

I mean most of the people involved are his friends. KC from Now, Now is on the album and he was at their show in Chicago a few years ago. Jay Som and NNAMDI are part of the general “emo” scene and if you’re part of that scene in any way likely know who Mike is. Atiba is a photographer friend of his, Norman has probably been friends with Mike since the 90s.

 

Yeah, it’s not like he got Steve Aoki to remix his songs. It’s just friends of his making a cool little album. I like it a lot.

I paid for a ticket awhile ago but I don’t think I received a link to watch it… I can’t find it in my inbox anywhere. Ahh

 

Go to dreamstage.live and there should be a log-in section there. Then go to the "your profile" section which is the person icon and click the tickets tab and you can access the show that way. It's going to be available to watch on-demand for like a week or something so you'll be good to watch latter.

 

Also if anyone paid for a ticket and has any issues watching, I'm recording to give myself a permanent copy so just hit me up, but if you follow the instructions above you should be good. I think the on-demand video might not appear until tomorrow but I'm not positive.

The crowd is pretty awful here. Aside from the guy next to me in the front row being obnoxious, and others being a bit annoying, when Mike asked the crowd if they had any questions some dumbass yelled “ARE YOU DIVORCED?”. Fortunately the whole room booed him.

 

That sucks… what stuff did he play though?
