The DLC’s are not bad but essentially a lot more tasky stuff with some story thrown in. Screwball may possibly be more annoying than Tiny Tina.

 

Thought this was cool. I guess they make a Sonic one as well.

 

Going to move up to hard difficulty on TLOU, normal is way 2 EZ

 

Not an acquisition but it sounds like it might be headed that way.

Hollow Knight: A Modern Masterpiece

 

My company distributes this. Pretty good, and there’s a lot of flavors. Most of them are affiliated with e sports people/streamers. Tho they had the black ooze and red ooze for Venom release last month. Those were easily the best so far

 

Started a fresh skyrim character for the first time since special edition dropped in 2016. My next blog post will def cover this game since the ten year anniversary is less than two weeks out. I know it’s a meme at this point but the relevancy of this game is serious and, for me anyway, there’s plenty of reasons why I will never stop playing it. I truly love it.


Also I’m starting to love writing about video games, like I said I’ve never done it before but it’s fun to put into words what keeps you interested in a game. I hope I did a good job on my HK post explaining how it really meant a lot to me without divulging too much about it. I want my readers to experience it for themselves

Murder House is the scariest game I've played in at least ten years.

 

I didn’t think Unpacking was hitting game pass until tomorrow but here I am playing it

 

How is it?

So I've beaten three optional bosses, leaving only one optional boss left. One of the ones I beat was indeed Iga, and yes, it was satisfying. Another was a crossover the game did with the game Kingdom: Two Crowns, which was less of a challenge and more of a fun diversion.

The lone optional boss I have left though is harder than Iga, which is saying something. I actually happened to luck into the crafting path to get the most powerful weapon in the game, which I now carry. I'm now level 47, so I've decided to grind out the remaining levels to reach 50 and get that achievement, as well as try to get enough cash to get a boatload of healing.

Once I beat the optional boss, I'll only have the two final story-related bosses left and I'll complete the bestiary and beat the game proper, and that's where I'll stop.

Meanwhile, I've also been playing a new mobile game via Bluestacks, Slime: Isekai Memories, which is based on the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.

It's published by Bandai Namco, but made by a company called Wright Flyer Studios, who are responsible for other mobile titles Danmachi: Memoria Freese (adaptation of the anime) and Another Eden (original RPG made with some of the people responsible for Chrono Trigger). I've enjoyed their work.

Anyway, it's very much a mobile game, with gacha mechanics (although not very intrusive ones), but the hook that I'm really digging is a subgame where you get to build the town the characters live in and help it grow. Also, the game itself has an original story made under the light novel author's supervision, which is interwoven with a straight adaptation of the anime's first season.

Here's some screenshots taken from the Play Store's page, but to clarify the 3D segments are limited to combat and inside your town. The story itself happens in visual novel format.

But for a mobile game it makes sense considering so many out there don't have those features. A lot of them are just basic turn based with an overworld or a lot of menus instead of actual mechanics.

 

Both takes are accurate. All mobile games are more or less advertised the same way on the Google store, but honestly, when you're trying to advertise from a screenshot, you only have enough room for bullet points.
