And that $275 price for floor tickets doesn't help at all, at least in the San Diego date that's how much floor tickets are before fees.

 

Just checked the Chicago show and you are right, $275 before fees!

But also the sales are so low that its the first time I see Ticketmaster platinum tickets selling for less that actual standard tickets lol. And resale tickets are selling for the same price as standard tickets.

 

Someone is getting fired over this tour.

Big room EDM has been a dying genre for awhile. These acts pull big crowds at EDM fests but not for headline shows. This is a colossal failure.

 

Maybe this is just because I’m a Pavement fan, but these venues seem kinda small? I know they’re playing multiple nights in some cities, but still… Or am I overestimating how big of a deal this reunion is?

 

Trapt doing a 20th anniversary tour for their self titled. Would have probably gone if CTB wasn't such a huge dipshit.

I think you are overestimating it. I think the “I have to see Pavement live once” crowd is probably largely satisfied by the last reunion. These venues seem pretty solid to me.

I saw them play on the s/t album a number of times back in the day and totally enjoyed myself. Some of those songs on that album and the follow-up still bang. Agree with you on Chris Taylor Brown, no reason to support that dickbag.

 

I loved that album too but in there's no way I would enjoy seeing them live now

 

Meanwhile I never caught them on the last go-round so I'mma be taking a day off to go to Kansas City on a Tuesday night haha

 

the big Knotfest LA show is this Friday and the website/information still says negative test is an option, wonder if they'll be changing that?

 

I thought the same thing but I just did more research on it.. Sadly it's only going to be for indoor spaces that will no longer be accepting negative tests. That show is at an outdoor stadium

 

ahhhh yeah ok then. Would at least feel good in places like the Roxy, then.
