Probably a top 5 artist for me at this point. This easily my most anticipated album after Big Red Machine.

    Great, great song.

So glad the album is coming out in October too. One of my favorite pastimes is going for long autumn walks with Grouper in my ears.

I have been listening to so much Grouper the last couple months and I was wondering when we'd get something new. The timing couldn't be more perfect.

Also, two incredible records from this year that I think Grouper fans would really dig

I will be okay. everything Supporter

Heard a lot about this project that suggests it’d be my thing. Where’s the best place to start?

I really love Ruins, but I think Dragging a Dead Deer up a Hill is probably your best entry point…MAYBE also The Man Who Died in His Boat

I'm already on my third listen of this album today.

Pale Interior is taking my breath away.

Dragging a Dead Deer for sure. Can't wait to listen to this later. Grouper is such a mood for me, gotta listen on a dark cloudy day or when it's dark out.

Dragging a Dead Deer is the best entry point for sure. Then I think going chronologically from there is your best bet, and trying out her different vibes. If you want something with more crunch, here's another project by her called Helen which is basically shoegaze Grouper.

anyway, new album is excellent after my first listen. the last song is so beautiful

Took this for a walk with a clear night sky and it was amazing. Probably one of her clearest sounding, most direct records, I think.

Would love to hear an album of her doing her version of “pop”. That song she did with Xiu Xiu is insanely good

So far every time I listen to this I get a different part stuck in my head. Today it's Unclean Mind, specifically the dual vocal on "Tried to hide you from my unclean mind, put it in a costume."
