The end of that SMU vs Houston game was wild.

I shouldn’t be talking shit but I looked at SDSU schedule and it seemed like such an easy schedule and Fresno State made them look like nothing..

Yeah, that SMU / Houston game was wild. I hope Houston's FB program keeps up and we see some more great games once they enter the Big12.

Ohio State is gonna be ahead of us in the CFP rankings and it’s going to be bullshit

you gotta understand that, despite losing the head to head matchup, Ohio St still has the stronger resume thanks to their *checks notes* 0 wins against top 25 teams when this next batch of rankings comes out

Ohio State one spot ahead of Oregon in this week’s AP Poll lol

I gotta say, really love how the National media has zero opinion on Michigan State fans flipping cars and burning things in public but had more than a lot to say about *checks notes* empty plastic bottles being thrown on a field of people wearing pads and helmets.

Michigan State and Oregon should both be ahead of Ohio State based on simple logic.

    I’d say:
    1. Georgia
    2. Cincinnati
    3. Oklahoma I guess
    4. Michigan St
5 seems fine because their candidacy comes down to beating Georgia in the SEC Championship and they won’t have earned a spot until then. Alabama
    6. Oregon
    7. Wake Forest
8 with upward mobility if they take care of their remaining schedule including MSU. Ohio St
9 with upward mobility if they take care of their remaining schedule including Ohio St. Michigan
    10. Notre Dame

Fresno State with that 25 ranking and I hope if they finish the year strong they can at least get to 15.

I know Boise State isn't great this year, but a win over them and whoever they'll play in the MWC Championship (Utah State?) would probably get them there.

yeah I think they can definitely get there but they should need to play as tough as they did last night. They’ve been known to play down to their opponents so I feel like the Boise game would be a tough one.

Wow. Legit the only thing I was right about preseason (I've been wrong about a lot), domo said "hmm I think TCU and Patterson are getting a little... a little stale. Good coach and good program, but they've hit a roadblock recently and I don't see it all of a sudden getting great"

And clearly.... yup. Wonder where he ends up. You know TCU is 100% eyeballing the UTSA coach. Same with Texas Tech. Haha both programs preparing for new big12 life

Report: TCU, Gary Patterson mutually agree to part ways

*Huh just read the UTSA coach signed a giant contract a few weeks ago to stay. Does that mean he won't leave? No lol. He's making like 2.8mil a year, that's 1/3 of what tcu was paying Patterson so.

But it would definitely require a significant contract to lure him away.

It’s usually a bet by the school that they think they’ll get a nice payout when he leaves

Sonny Dykes will take that TCU job.

He’s been great at SMU but stunk at Cal. Not sure why TCU wants him…

Wake Forest top ten for the first time ever. Would love to see them make the playoffs. Georgia, Cincy, Michigan State, Wake Forest would be ideal.

I’m a little worried that Georgia is gonna ride Stetson Bennett into the SEC Championship and CFP. The bye was the time to swap QBs and give Daniels time to get his feet under him again before the big games, but if there’s one knock on Smart, it’s that he’s afraid to rock the boat at that position and wants to stick with his low ceiling QBs as long as they’re winning football games
