is it a two hour event or something?

i'd guess it goes about an hour an a half. with that it becomes a four match show, 3 of which should get some decent time.

Lucha is so wonderful when it comes to world building and meaningful feuds. Really great start to the season.

No doubt. It always amazes me to think that an entire LU season (S2 was 25hrs or so) is what WWE used to spend between monthyl PPVs. Kinda crazy considering how much more they run through

Going further into this, seems pretty clear Cesaro is going 4 straight. This was the breakdown

"Sheamus looked dominant for the entirety of this match. Hitting move after move and not enabling Cesaro to manage a Cesaro swing. It was a shock when Cesaro managed a sneaky roll up to get the three count and take his first win in their best of 7 series."

Figured Cesaro would take the Rocky route. Get a sneaky win, then build to a dominating squash match in the 7th meeting

haven't been in the thread for like 2 weeks but for the foreseeable future it'll stay 1 belt

I can't see how that will ever change but I guess I won't rule it out

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

So happy that The Young Bucks finally actually got the 5 stars to back up their gimmick lol.

First 5 star match outside of Japan in over fours years, and the first tag match of any kind in over 10 years to get 5 stars.

Rumor is that Vince wants the same amount of titles of both shows, so we may eventually get Cruiserweights on SDL.

  15. Yeah not really excited for Backlash. I won't be watching it live anyway (or Raw the next day...) due to football starting.

I really hope AJ wins. Will it be clean? I don't think so sadly. But I also don't think he's winning either, so...

This shit with Paige is getting ridiculous.

The more time that passes, the clearer it seems that Paige is her own worst enemy.

It seems like there are two sides of the argument, and both are wrong. Paige is basically torpedoing her own career with all of the Del Rio stuff and likely partying too hard. If she truly was 'harassed' and 'threatened' about the state of the relationship, her argument could hold up in court. I could definitely see a settlement and her departure some time in the next year or so. It's not like they have plans for her anyways. At her age, with her notoriety, she could make a butt load of money in other ventures.

The more Eva posts on Instagram about her new business venture, the more it seems like she is ready to jump ship as well.

Thing is, Paige is only 24, which is crazy to me. The other non-revolution Divas are all in their 30s. So, Eva leaving at 32 or 33 is kind of whatever.

But losing Paige at 24, when she and Bayley/Becky/Sasha/Charlotte could easily be the WWE for the next 5 years, seems kinda crazy.

That said, Paige belongs in something like LU right now. She could easily fill the void Sexy Star leaves in terms of being the lead female wrestler

Ehhhhh, idk. I highly doubt WWE "harassed" or "threatened" her about the relationship. Half the locker room is dating—they know how to handle these sort of things in a legal sense. Now, I'm sure Carrano had some type of discussion with Paige about what the hell is going on, and them splitting her and Del Rio up in the brand split seems like WWE trying to nip things in the bud, but I feel like Paige may have started going off the rails a little bit prior to the Del Rio relationship. Idk if it's the pressure of being in the spot that she was, doing way too many things with the addition of Total Divas, being young and figuring herself out, or just a combo of all things, but WWE definitely had plans for her and it seems to me like she started to crack or became too unreliable.

In regards to money, she'll definitely be able to make a living elsewhere, but lets not act like she would be making anywhere near the consistent income she currently gets from both WWE and Total Divas.

Meltzer is speculating that she may have lawyers exploring her options on getting out of her WWE contract (which I don't think expires for quite some time)

I was a dipshit at that age, most of us are. What's sad is she'll probably look back on this time in a few years and regret a lot of her choices.

Sounds like it runs through 2019.

I guess we'll find out after Clash of Champions, because thats about when Paige's suspension is up
    Aint that the truth.

She was champ at the age of 21 (and NXT champ at 20). Be a damn shame if she left WWE by 25.
