I’m thinking of putting the money I had saved for a PS5 toward a Steam Deck instead. I’ve accumulated a decent Steam library over the years, and booting my iMac into Windows to play certain titles gets annoying pretty fast. Seems cheaper to go with a Steam Deck than a gaming laptop or PC. I’ve always been wary of handhelds (I play with my Switch in handheld about 10% of the time although I definitely enjoy using it that way more than any previous handheld console) but this seems super, super appealing.

I went ahead put the $5 down just to be safe.

Slander on handhelds will not be tolerated.

Switch is great. Steam Deck will also be great. Excited to grab one.

The worst part is knowing the steam will emulate old Nintendo games better than the switch

    Player's Log: Bloodstained.

I managed to get the achievements for doing 30 quests for NPCs and eating 20 recipes, but this experience cemented my decision to not pursue the achievements for completing the item list or for getting every shard. It's just going to be way too much work for very little reward.

For the same reasons, I won't pursue the achievements for having $500,000 on hand at once or for mastering a weapon technique.

Of the remaining achievements left that aren't story related, I will complete the map and I think I might also complete the bestiary. I may also get the achievement for reaching level 50, although right now I'm at level 41, so I have some ways left to go. Not sure on that one.

I did defeat two of the hidden bosses, mostly due to my abuse of the Invert shard to walk on the ceiling. I also tried to defeat Iga again, and I think I'm actually getting fairly close to beating him. I can get him down to about a fifth of his health before I run out of healing items and HP. If I buy a few more goods, I think I can knock him out.

Beyond that I have two or three more hidden bosses, one secret enemy to locate, and I think that's it besides the final area.

I'm hoping I can lay this game to rest tomorrow, but we'll see.

  18. Wait did someone post something about like Sony bringing Playstation games to PC? Does that mean I'll eventually get to play TLOU? Or did I read that headline wrong?

Sony has already started doing this with Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn. They will continue with God Of War and Uncharted 4 + The Lost Legacy. To this end, Sony has created an official PlayStation PC label.

Does this mean Last Of Us could be ported? Maybe. Frankly, I'd be surprised if it didn't.

Have 100%d the base game and all the DLC’s for Spider-Man. Just have to do NG+ and then on to Miles Morales.

i 100% the game on ps4 just the base game but with you talking about it again it made me want to revisit it on the PS5 because I never did do the DLC.

I’m at 5 Valkyrie down and that’s without even trying to get the best armor in the base game so now im about to try and farm for that mist armor.

it’s funny the Valkyrie actually start to seem a lot easier once you notice all their patterns and stuff plus the blocking is very forgiving in the game.

Finished Death's Door. Some of the post-game stuff was super tedious, but still an excellent game.
