Coolest thing about comparing The Who and Zepp is they both made arguably the two best hard rock albums of all time in the same year: IV and Who’s Next

Hahahaha. Can't help it. It might be a time and place album for me, but I was really depressed about life at that point in my mid-20s and that album was one of the things that really pulled me out of it along with a bunch of things in my personal life improving in 2013. I'd go so far as to say it's a damn near perfect punk album. It's a shame their follow-up to it...was less than stellar, but I'll take what I can get.

My brother and I had an hour drive to the Menzingers show we saw this past weekend where we listened to Hello Exile, OTIP, and TFIC, and that opinion really solidified in my mind. Hence, why it probably fits the bad opinions thread since I know it's gonna go against the grain on this site.

Yup, by a decent margin too. The menz are a better band over all (by a decent margin too), but this album is lightning in a bottle

 

people give weezer shit on the green album for all the solos following the verse melody but when menzingers do it with the chorus melody it’s charming and fun hmmmm
