I think for me it’s the bigness of it all. It’s expansive and panoramic. It’s also my go to fall discography, the moment I can throw a flannel on I’m cranking this record as I do work around the house.

It still feel like I am discovering new layers of LITD and I've been listening consistently since release, I think that's what I like most.

If you find LITD isn't immediate enough though give Deeper Understanding a go, specifically Pain, Holding On and In Chains.

Just had my first roll through the new one, to me it felt like it doesn't quite have the expansiveness of ADU or LITD.
Feels a little flat on first spin, hopefully I can spend some more time with it over the weekend and it starts to click.

My vinyl seems to be stuck in Portland, ME. No update since Monday.

Love your name, @metroid! I hope you’ve been enjoying Dread.
I think I love TWOD (especially Lost in the Dream) so much because for me the music can fit so many situations/moods and goes especially well with driving (which I have to do a lot for work). I like the driving beats when I’m happy, but there is ambience for introspection and sadness, and it’s steady enough to calm me when I’m anxious. It morphs into what I need. It’s pleasant without erring on the side of boring. It feels like the comfort food of music but still has enough layers and details to keep my attention after many listens.

I've only seen them live once, but they could well be the best live band i've seen.
There is so much power and energy in the music.

Really hope they can come back to Australia with this new record

For whoever asked a while back, I always got a less-pop Tom Petty vibe from these guys. That's what really drew me in at first at least.

This album is real nice. I agree with the love for "Victim" and I really dig the title track. Can't wait to spend some more time with this.
