There are some great matchups this weekend

Michigan vs. Michigan State
Georgia vs. Florida
Florida State vs. Clemson (just for the potential laughs)
SMU vs. Houston
Penn State vs. Ohio State

Definitely are some other games with potential, but these should all be fun.

 

Greg Sankey really is out here saying the SEC doesn't have reffing problems, it's just the athletes are too fast for his refs to ref accurately... so there's a reffing problem, Greg.

Btw i had absolutely no idea that college changed ot rules to that shit we saw in psu/Illinois. I mean, wtf is that. College ot rules were already kinda wacky, but how about after ot6 we do a skills challenge. I know it's the equivalent to a penalty shots in hockey but in college where there's only 12 games....convince

Looks like the new Sunbelt Conference additions are all close to being a done deal:

Southern Miss
Old Dominion
James Madison
Marshall

Not bad additions, and they make a ton of historical/geographical sense. It may be the strongest G5 conference after all the realignment is done.

They're definitely on par or really really close to aac (aac is just a bastard new cusa). What helps the sun belt is they seem to have struck gold in Appalachian state and coastal. Its not just troy being "ok" sometimes.

Are they better than the mountain west? Nah. Boise is still the best program and sdsu, fresno are always in the hunt.

But its close. Ten years ago if you would have told me the SUN BELT was a successful conference.... no way
