Player's Log: So I got a decent way into Bloodstained. I'm currently in pursuit of the double jump, which I imagine will make my life a thousand times easier.

Unfortunately, my computer decided I was having too much fun and froze up. I shouldn't have lost too much progress, since I've been saving every time I come across a save room, but it still rankles.

 

The GTA remasters apparently have modernized controls too which I'm actually very happy about

I just hope the Vice City and San Andreas soundtracks stay fully intact

B4B is fun, but man I don’t get how it’s so hard to search for people to join your run. Quick play is instant with joining other people’s games. Though when I start a run it takes forever for someone to join. Also the game just throws so many enemies out you at times it’s kinda frustrating. Lol I know that’s the point tho

 

Well right after I posted that I got 4 randos and we beat the mission I was stuck on. JFG

 

I installed Avengers (and Sable earlier) but I haven't been in a gaming mood all month, been focusing on spoopy movies.

 

My job has been very stressful with a covid outbreak the past couple weeks, ive been all over the place with games.

Remembered I have the Voidheart edition of Hollow Knight on PS5 so im gonna give that a go. 3rd time playing HK but it looks like there is a ton of new stuff on this edition. Anyone play this one?

 

Its so great being gud af at HK right from the rip lol

 

I just recently finished HK for the first time last week. Absolutely incredible experience.

 

Was it the Voidheart edition? On PS4?

And yeah, i'm already sucked back in, I missed this world. I'm gonna maybe try to 100 percent it? I really didn't do many extra things my other play throughs.

As far as I know, Voidheart doesnt have any 'new' content. It does include all post release DLC content though, so if you havent seen that, itll be new to you.

 

Okay got it, yeah I deff didn't do any DLC.

 

B4B is SO much more fun than I expected. Me and some buddies are loving it

I’ve spent so much time just in Godhome trying to beat those pantheons

 

Started up Carrion. Fucking love it.

 

Damn I always wanted to give it a shot.

 

Good game. Fairly quick and easy.

 

Player's Log:

I'm in the Underground Sorcery Lab in Bloodstained. Gonna look for a feather because apparently Double Jump isn't good enough and with the feather I can craft something better. Apparently I'm also getting close to the point where I can get the worst ending, so... looking forward to that.

Loving the game. It's Castlevania, in all but name. Iga should just keep making games like this forever. And I'm loving the designs for some of these bosses. The Tower boss especially was really cool.

EDIT: So, upon double checking, apparently the feather I want is not in this lab, but in a different lab later in the game. God dammit. I'm like... always so antsy to get the things I need to start really exploring the map. Drives me crazy. Oh well.

i should really finish playing the Spyro trilogy, i only played some of the first two games but haven't gotten back to it
