I know it is a bit of a walk, but there's a ton of parking garages on and near Boylston and Mass Ave. There's one near Berklee that is pretty reliable.

 

I had won tickets to the show last night but ended up not going cause it was a Sunday night and just didn't feel like having to drive almost an hour there and back. Plus I'm not too familiar with a lot of AVA music so I knew like half the songs in the setlist.

Now I thoroughly regret it after seeing they did There Is/I Miss You for the encore.

 

well, the Sox game ruins my plans. Going to a show in Cambridge that gets out right before AVA are scheduled to go on, so I was going to Uber to HOB. But with the Sox game going on, Uber is most likely going to be surge priced and walking would get me there mid set. Guess I’ll wait and see.

 

Anyone know if it’s possible to get a copy of The Dream Walker on CD? Just the basic compact disc in a cardboard sleeve or jewel case is what I’m looking for.

First time seeing AvA and Tom live at all!

 

Saw AVA in Philly last night and the show did not disappoint! I thought Tom sounded great.

 

There was one available in a cardboard sleeve. I don’t think it’s on their store anymore now.

Yeah that show was fucking awesome. I don’t know if it was the excitement of my first show since Covid happened or not, but god damn did it feel great.

Setlist was SICK and Tom legit sounded great. I thought he sounded like shit last time in Boston. Not tonight, it was fantastic.

 

The band was firing on all cylinders last night. Holy shit that was good

 

Got super lucky and met Tom briefly last night before the show.

My friend and I were walking back to where we parked before the show, the Red Sox game had just started like maybe 30-1hr ago and Tom Delonge is just walking down Landsdowne St. to the venue. My friend who isn't as big of a fan as me noticed him first and nudges me and goes "Uhhh dude, I think that's him?" and I look up and go HOLY SHIT it is...

walked right up and said something like "I'm a huge fan and hate to be that guy but can I please take a photo with you?" and he was as nice as can be, we got a quick photo, I told him I'm 32 yrs old and still skateboarding and he was stoked. My friend asked if they were going to play Secret Crowds haha and he said yes and that was about it. Still can't believe it!

 

Incredible show last night.Amazing.
Also Tom’s stage persona is just something very special haha

 

One of the big voids in the current era of blink. Tom’s stage persona vs. Matt’s is night and day.

 

Hopefully we can some Canadian dates eventually. Toronto got cancelled twice on the pre pandemic tour so it's been ages since I've seen them live. Stoked that everyone is digging the live shows.

 

The energy from not only the crowd, but the band last night was INSANE

 

All these stories are making my heart melt! How has the turnout been? I know not many have been sold out but still pretty full?

 

Wonder if they have anything special planned for their show on Halloween

Boston seemed pretty packed to me but maybe I was just high on happiness seeing the band haha also there was light mosh on Automatic and even circle pit during Heaven which was just hilarious.Loved it

 

Maryland pretty noticeably wasn't sold out unfortunately

I said when the tour was first announced though that the venue seemed way too big

 

NJ was probably 70% full based on the parking lot. So instead of everyone being on top of one another during a sold out show, everyone had a little room to breathe while it still appeared that the room was full.

 

The MD show actually reduced capacity night-of. The venue itself has an upper balcony and ability to open/close retractable seating for a larger GA standing area.

That night they closed the balcony, opened up the retractable seating and moved all tickets from the balcony down to the lower seating and created a smaller GA standing area and it still wasn't full. I didn't mind though considering it's COVID and I know none of these people. Just danced my azz off.
