Finally got around to checking this out.

Two comments:

To the people who think this is inferior to Screamer.......I respectfully disagree

To the people who said this has LESS guitar than Screamer......I respectfully disagree

Good little album, obviously very acoustic-based, but I dug 8 of the 9 songs. To The Sea is horrible though.

 

Agreed with all of this

 

Confirming that I do, in fact, keep coming back to this on these crisp fall mornings. Was really really skeptical of this one at first, but it's a grower.

 

I only enjoy tracks 3, 4, and 5. Even those are a bit underwhelming to me.

 

For me its tracks 4-6, everything else is not quite for me

The last part of Silverlake Neophyte though, really good, need more of that

 

"Third Eye Blind live in studio" but its just Stephan warbling over a song that doesn't translate to acoustic very well

I really hope this band has more left in the tank, I'd enjoy a few more hits down the road

Watched the ep last night and I questioned if that event ever happened haha.

The guy they got for Stephan was bad as well.

This version of How's It Going To Be is suuuper interesting. I don't particularly love it, but I do love that it's a whole new spin on the song. If the whole album is wildly different versions like this, then I'm super interested

 

Second Born? That’s a shocker.

 

The track list has me ridiculously excited.

 

Wish it had “Company of Strangers” but other than that, this tracklist is great

this version of “how’s it gonna be” is so cool

 

That version of HIGB is dull, lifeless, and completely uninspired.

Nice tracklist, but yeah 3EB is so washed at this point. Oh well.
