Yeah, Some Nights proved that the right vocal effects can work wonders, but this one is.... not it.

I could see a world where Nate's part by itself without the vocal effects could possibly lead to a better song, but the song as it is is very bad

 

From Twitter it seems like he might be performing with Young Thug on SNL

 

I actually like the voice modulation! I don't love how saccharine the chorus hook is (just toes the wrong side of that line for me) but it's pretty great to hear his voice again.

 

Guess I can't rag on him cashing a check, but the song and his part are not good at all.

 

Any idea if he’s writing? Cool to see him working with Bhasker again, even if this result isn’t the best.

 

man..... it feels amazing to see Nate singing, dunno what Travis is doing there barely playing anything though haha. Thug sounds terrible. Gunna sounds really good.

I think I’ve made it pretty clear and have been a petulant child in regards to how I feel about music. This was the rare exception for me as a songwriter. Absolutely my favorite session of all time. I’m dying to get invited back to Atlanta, even if it’s just to hang.

I want to believe the “reunion” tour Jason keeps hinting at in linear notes is related to some nights turning 10

 

Feels like that or Tom back in blink. Can’t really think of any other big bands that have called it quits that aren’t back together already.

 

As much as I would love fun. to come back I don't see it happening any time soon.
