When you get a solid squad in B4B the game really fires on all cylinders. I need to not forget to grab a tool kit though. There’s multiple stash rooms I’ve ran into during a run that I can’t open.

 

What are you playing on?

 

I totally didn't get the appeal of God of War. I got a few hours in (when the map starts to really open up) and realized I didn't really care enough to continue. I recognize it's a major technical achievement (I love how fast the load times are and that it's one continuous shot) but I think I'm over third person character action games.

Well, kind of. I'm gonna go back and platinum it but for now. It's done.

 

Guess I better get on the hype train. Hopefully this weekend.

The main reason I ordered a series s lmao

 

I have a pc coming in the next few days, excited to hop in to some B4B.

 

I lied when I said it was my first time idk why I said that. I had the same experience a couple years back. I played a few hours in and then stopped and didn't get the hype. I know so many people who love it though and I wanted to give it another shot after the new one was announced to come next year.


I guess it's because I gave it more time but I find it quite brilliant in every way now. I'm very much into third person action games though still, i'm glad I gave this another shot because I am 110% in now.

 

Still no gameplay for Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League? Kinda sus

 

Unfortunately I got COVID so now i have the next two weeks off to try and tackle any games I can do that.

Restarting Last of Us

 

Player's Log:

I finished Timespinner yesterday, completely 100%.

I decided not to pursue Wargroove further for right now. I will come back to it, but I'm just not in the mood for that kind of game at the moment.

Instead, I decided to go back to an earlier recommendation that I never took: Murder By Numbers. I finished Case 1, and I'm rather enjoying it. It is indeed very Ace Attorney, and it also scratches my picross itch.

Any of you JRPG heads playing Tales of Arise? Looks interesting but Im not familiar with the series.

 

I played it! I think it's worth a play if you are generally into JRPG's. You might like it more if you're not familiar with the series, because you won't be comparing them to the past entries.

The plot/story is not great. Tales is always most about the battle system and characters. The battle system is this game's biggest strength, but it's not perfect either. In short I think it's a mixed experience; I'm curious to hear what people think of it who haven't played a Tales game.

 

Got my friends to all get B4B. Has anyone here used the cross play function to group up with friends on other consoles? I’ve seen mixed results…
