I'm pretty insufferable during the baseball season though. My homerism knows no bounds.

 

It's Logan Webb's world and we're all just living in it. If he wasn't a star after that game 1 performance, he's about to be after he shuts out LA tomorrow.

They're kind of conplete opposites as baseball players in every conceivable way, so I guess it makes sense. Rose doesn't strike me as the most analytically-minded either

Yup plus the game is so much different now vs when Rose played. And Rose is kind of an asshole so whatever he says you take with a grain of salt. He’s probably just pissed he had money on the Yankees and lost.

i think i'm finally figuring out that i mostly care about topps chrome and stadium club, specifically because the autos have real information on the back instead of the boiler plate "Congratulations! You have received a 2021 Topps Gypsy Queen Autograph of XX" nonsense

I got a really cool 2019 gyspy queen Juan Soto auto, black & white parallel /50 but i think i want to get rid of it soon because the back of the card is unbelievably lame




and i really like the look of some GQ, allen & ginter, etc etc but i hate the back of the cards so much

I HATE the "congratulations you got an autograph" backs. It's not 30 years ago when it felt like a surprise to get one lol.

 

Man, I just absolutely hate the Dodgers. Hate looking at negligent covid spreader Justin Turner, stupid stoner face Bellinger, the good Will Smith, fat bastard Muncy. And don’t even get me started on Trea Turner, an absolute pest who will likely hit for the cycle against us. And also, they have all those snotty celebrity fans in attendance they’ll surely cut to during the broadcast. I’d be so much less miserable losing to the Giants than I would the Dodgers for like the 3rd consecutive post season.
