The Usos injure the team that dominated them, now get rewarded with a second chance at a spot in the title match. Makes sense.

 

Such incredibly bad booking

 

I mean, its cheap heat, but, prboably the easiest way they have to keep Slater a face and have him win

 

I think it makes sense.

Having American Alpha win the titles at Backlash would be lazy. They're obviously the best team on the roster and the slow burn on them will make their eventual title win much more satisfying.

This way, Slater, who has been so great recently, gets his win and Smackdown contract. This also allows Rhyno and Slater to go over The Usos who we want to see lose now because of what they did to American Alpha.

I have no desire to watch Backlash at all after that.

 

So pumped for how quick (I assume) these DVDs are going to come out.

 

main event for backlash and that's it. nothing else interests me in the least bit

 

That Mark Andrews/Pete Dunne match looks amazing

 

Awesome. Hopefully that means even a little earlier for people who ordered direct from PWG. Don't know if they usually come out same time or not. Great news regardless.

 

Ladder War 6 for the tag belts at ROH ASE8 later this month! Should be an absolutely bonkers match. Ladder matches in ROH are pretty rare, as they only do one every couple of years so this should be a treat. Both of the 3-way tag team ladder matches The Young Bucks have had in PWG were insane.

Between The Bucks and The Addiction there are very high odds that we'll see a Meltzer Driver off of a ladder spot.

 

Smackdown was decent at best, nothing great, but still better than Raw. The Usos should've turned at the PPV. AA can overcome clean losses, and theres a way to do it to question the Usos, but still have them win fairly. Everything else was kinda just there. Ambrose was great at the end though. Still a fan. Also if Ambrose knew anything about bowling he'd know that good bowlers dont get trophies, we get rings

 

Kinda feel bad for MCMG. I don't like them much, but they always just seem tacked on. Guess it'd be cool to see them go over, but I don't see that happening at all.

I'm glad they are getting legit talents on the show. The Jay Lethal match they started off with was great (outside of the finish) and things have only gotten better.
