Saw two dates of sad summer last week and said screw it, going to Philly tomorrow

 

I just bought a ticket tomorrow

 

Yessss. I kept telling myself I didn't care where or when their first show back was, I'd be there. So excited!!

 

Gonna be an excellent show.

Thinking Winter Upsides / Suburbia tour then ramp up new album cycle in late spring

Not sure if legit but according to this post on Reddit they announced the new album is recorded at the sad summer fest date the other day

Yup, was there! Dan said they flew home from LA and they had just finished recording the album as they got asked to play Sad Summer. Seemed like they JUST finished.

I won't be able to make it out to any of these, so I'm jealous of anyone who catches this tour but I assume they'll be on the road a bunch next year.

 

Still shocked they haven't dropped off Fest but excited to see them there

 

Think I may make a four hour drive down to Providence. Never been.

 

The timing isn’t great for me but gonna try and make one or two of the holiday shows. Also very excited to see them at Fest, can’t believe how soon it is now

These are just the songs he recorded for people, right? Like people paid for a custom song and now they're getting a wider release?
