Since the announcement above I was thinking Scream but I'm not seeing the 4th streaming anywhere.

Seeing and thinking about Jason X is initially what triggered this endeavor. I've always heard stuff about X but never seen it so thinking about giving it a shot.

 

I'm not sure if this is a good or bad takes but I've always thought the Urban Legend films are super underrated. At least the theatrical ones. Always loved those!

 

Peacock has most major series this season

I’d suggest the Halloween series with Kills coming out next week, but it’s the least consistent.

 

Been watching all of the Mario Bava films I could find recently. Been quite the trip so far.

 

I found it on IMDbTV, btw; I think it was only recently added. It's amazing what you can find just searching on Roku, for free with ads.

A bunch of us did. It was... a season of Slasher.

At least the reveal was unpredictable? Pretty much everything about the last episode was frustrating tho.

 

The new one is just called Scream, not Scream 5? Twenty year old me would be furious lol

 

I remember someone in the cast saying ''It's the fifth Scream, but it's not Scream 5'' a while back.

 

Yeah, I thought it was decent. Has some wild gore in it

 

i looked on Wikipedia and think it said it’s a direct sequel to the first but that can’t be right so maybe it’s an alternative franchise reboot? Idk but I can’t wait to see it, I’m a huge fan of the series (including 3!)

@Colby Searcy you can digitally rent Scream 4 off Amazon for like 3-4 bucks. Or digitally buy it for 5 from what I’m seeing.

haha oh man, all the digital copies that came with physical copies way back when. Had I known that digital would become what it is and that I wouldn’t keep a physical copy of my collection I’d have saved a lot of money from rentals and repurchases of shit I used to own lol

Freaky was great if only because the kills were creative and more brutal that one would think and Vince Vaughan’s performance. Worth the watch if you have HBO Max!

 

Yeah I'm hoping the trailer has some answers. Judy Hicks is in this new one so I'm a little confused as to where it could go lol

 

All we can do is speculate, which is a blessing given the franchise’s history of leaks. Given the teasers/social media info we’ve gotten so far..I think this will definitely follow the footsteps of Halloween (18) in terms of “rebooting” the franchise, but without erasing its history. This may not make any sense, but as the name indicates…I can’t write.

 

I’m assuming the new Scream is gonna be a commentary on how all these franchises are making sequels that ignore all the other sequels. Much like Scream 2 was a commentary on sequels and such

 

How’s the Scream tv series? Yay or nay?
