Me either, I have played nothing else really since it came out, save for listening to the new Gates song.

Let's get these people moving faster!

I thought it was good on first listens, but last night was the first time I gave it a proper listen through headphones while on a latenight walk home from a bar - and it really sunk in then. I know everyone always says headphones are the best way to appreciate an album, and I never necessarily disagreed, but it definitely provided the focus and atmosphere to set it off for me.

For those that have gone to shows on this tour (or in general) for proof of vaccination did you need the physical card or does a scan on your phone work? Just hate taking my card and the thought of losing it lol

The Dreamer is probably my least favorite on this but I’ve had the chorus stuck in my head for the last few days lol

Buried in the Sun and Unitive/East are the two I’m not as big on (because they remind me of songs they’ve done before) but the album is really great and I don’t skip a track.

Anyone need a single ticket for the 10/15 show at Saint Andrew's in Detroit? Bought it when I thought I'd be in town visiting family that weekend but had to cancel the trip, so I'm going to a later date instead. Would be happy for someone to get to use it!

Went to a show last weekend and got in with my cvs app showing I’m vaccinated. Have the thrice tour tomorrow at a different venue but I assume it’ll be fine

Also I have an extra ticket for Philly tomorrow if anyone needs one my gf has to work I’ll sell at face value without the fees just trying to get something for it

Gonna vary venue by venue. In Norfolk, I just presented a laminated copy of my vax card and they let me in. Process went smoothly, and it honestly took longer to go through the metal detector than to get into the venue than to get my card checked.

Reading all these comments makes me glad.
They're in a great place creatively and otherwise, after so many years as a band. It's good to be a Thrice fan.

    Totally agree.

With this band I always associate success to a few key factors:

-Same 4 members from when the band started (including brothers)
-Same age bracket so they’ve had similar life experiences around similar ages (and they’ve addressed with when dealing with losing parents or even having kids)
-All members in the band contribute to writing music which may be the most important reason
-they are all production savvy and push themselves artistically
-their musical tastes seem to overlap in areas
-had success, tried the major route and stayed humble, choosing their music over money (with leaving a major for a indie with Vagrant) and have pushed in together on Epitaph
-the band have collectively shared the spot light with other members
-and they all see to respect each others right to side projects and their other interests (unless it starts to overshadow the band)

Right? I already considered him among the best live vocalists I’ve seen (my top 3 in terms of hitting all the notes and sounding close to the recordings, or better, is Dustin, Jim Adkins, and Father John Misty) but god damn he’s better than ever these days
