Till Death
Pretty good, but not very spoopy, more suspense/thriller than horror. I think this might actually be my first Megan Fox movie. She's great here, I'm hoping I can see Jennifer's Body before the month is over but it's not streaming anywhere

 

V/H/S/94 was a blast

Think I'd rank the segments: The Subject > Terror > Storm Drain > The Empty Wake > Holy Hell

But I liked em all

I’ve never seen a V/H/S film. I just read the synopsis for the first story of the first movie, and…yikes.

 

They're definitely worth a watch if you have a soft spot for anthology films and/or found footage. They're about as uneven as you'd expect, but there are some really great segments, even in the third one (which is easily the worst).

VHS 2 > VHS94 > VHS > Viral

 

I think for me its:

VHS 2 > VHS > 94 > Viral

Though my number 3 segment, Parallel Monsters, is from Viral. I don't think anything could ever pass Amateur Night as #1 tho.

 

I've only ever seen the first VHS....guess I gotta give em a run.

 

It's been a long time since I saw 1 and 2, and I avoided Viral because everyone said to

94 was very strong, idk might be the best

 

Okay, this is a little off brand for this thread, but Muppets Haunted Mansion deserves a watch…it’s hysterical.

 

Plan on watching that and the Halloween Lego Star Wars special this weekend!

 

Randomly went with The Angry Red Planet on Prime last night because I wasn't feeling like a slasher. The combination of the red filter, live action, and animation (CineMagic lol) is really unique and fun/unsettling to look at.

 

It’s the weekend! Hoping to get through 8-10 films this weekend. I’ve got absolutely no plans so unless I get sucked into football accidentally I should be good for a lazy weekend in.

 

I just watched the 80s remake of The Blob for the first time. Holy shit! I loved it

 

Watching House of the Devil waiting for Joe Bob to start and the cemetery part with AJ Bowen is just so perfect in every abrupt way. “Are you not the babysitter?”

going to watch malignant tonight. heard it’s bad/wild. can’t wait.
