An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

buckwild movie, I loved it though. felt like an X-File precursor at points

Watched Phantasm last night. Not great but fun and I loved the originality.

also makes me wonder if the end of ANOES was paying homage. Cant recall too many movies that end the way Phantasm does.

Biggest WTF moment in Phantasm is when they just break into song on the front porch. Like...no one, not a single soul, asked for that.

  5. Wasn't into the first thirty minutes of Hubie Halloween but it just kept getting better and better.

Hubie Halloween is great! Atmosphere is on point! It's definitely my favorite work of Sandler's since the early 2000s.

This completely. Something about it seemed so out of place to me but I love it now and always look forward to it.

I need to rewatch Phantasm. Never loved it as much as other people do but it’s been a long time.

Also, my Freddy shoes showed up today and I love them.

It cracks me up. I watch it once a year and it somehow continues to surprise me.

  11. Gotta say, one of my best horror memories is seeing Phantasm at the Erie Horror Fest on the big screen when I was 15. It's so unlike anything I'd seen at the point or even now, to be fair.

I enjoyed The Night House. It was heavier than I expected.

One last thing about Phantasm is that its main theme is pretty awesome. Not as iconic as say, Halloween or The Exorcist but it can hold its own.

Just a heads up, Malignant leaves HBOMax on the 10th.

Finally checking it out tonight completely blind. Haven’t seen a trailer or anything about it besides the all the hype on here. Am I in for a ride?

    Short answer: yes.

I could easily see this being a cult favorite years from now.

I think Hubie and Hocus Pocus are gonna be my two Halloween night viewings this year

I will be doing this on Halloween day:Halloween Pop Up Party Chicago

Last night we decorated our apartment for fall and watched Hocus Pocus. All else we've watched so far this month is The Conjuring and Malignant.

There was a rare thunderstorm last night so we turned off all the lights and watched Bride of Frankenstein. Really fun times.

Watched Hack-O-Lantern recently if you want to talk about nonsensical music scenes, also what's with the guy at the party that just breaks into his stand-up routine?

My running list has The Night House as my favorite horror this year so far. I need to rewatch before I lock that in

I thought The Night House was just decent. The only thing I took from that movie is that I now want to watch What Lies Beneath and Final Destination again haha.

That movie scared the hell out of me when it came out and I loved every second of it. Still do.
