An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

F13 tonight. Ned is still one of the most annoying characters in horror canon lol

Watched my first Bava tonight. Figured I'd start at the beginning with Black Sunday.

    IMO:

The first 40 minutes of Halloween (2018) were straight garbage and the caricature of PTSD was..not good, but to my surprise, I didn’t hate the whole thing; the scene where Michael is walking around with the trick or treaters and walks through the house was genuinely creepy and hypnotizing and I wish there had been more of that. The movie only felt inspired in the slightest once Michael got his mask back. The script was by far the worst thing about this movie which would’ve been okay if they didn’t spend the first 40 minutes on dumbass story with characters that ranged from dead boring to obnoxious.

Again, that trick or treat scene though. Plus the lighting throughout was great.

So apparently the Scream 5 trailer is being shown on the 10th before the Scream 25th anniversary theater run. Our theater got it so we'll be there on Sunday.

There's charm in Creep's simplicity, but it's a once and done for me. That's for sure.

I enjoyed both Creep movies for what they were, but yeah, I can’t imagine ever revisiting either of them.

Creep is good. Apostle was…..interesting. Very gory.

  15. That new Lego Star Wars was a good time.

Venom 2 wasn't as gory or scary as I'd imagined it would be, idk why I expected more horror-y elements from it, but it was still very fun.

Friendly reminder to get started on Midnight Mass if you haven't already.

All I remember from Creep was the ending (which I loved), need to check out the sequel

I think that was the last movie I saw in theater in 2020. It was pretty solid

  20. I loved Apostle. And the Invisible Man is awesome.

  22. It Follows is on Peacock! (with ads, but still.) I've been meaning to watch it forever! It left Netflix before I got around to it.
