I never said it was bad, just opposite. I've only heard a few Lady Gaga songs and I don't think I've heard a One Direction song before. I don't listen to the radio, or any Top 40. I'm not opposed to it or hate it, it's just not something I seek out. It was just something I noticed, I didn't mean for it to come off as snobby haha

 

I only date women that enjoy funk. More particularly, bands between the years 1969 and 1980.

 

I grew up listening to a lot of the 2000's emo, punk type bands, got a little into heavier stuff for a while, and my wife has forever been a Radio Country fan...but if that's the worst thing I can say about her, then all must be good, as we just celebrated our 10 yr...on the plus side, I've gotten pretty heaviliy into Americana/Folk which has proven as a middle ground though. I guess all those mixtapes ended up being worth it!

So the third date that I had today went pretty perfectly.
Went to a really quiet beach, walked about for ages. Found a secluded spot, had a picnic, rolled about in the sand a bit, drove to another beach and got some ice cream and walked along and chatted a bit more.
I've spent three out of the last four days with her, had the best time, but now she's away on holiday for 5 days with some guys she went to uni with, and I'm very nervous she'll end up with one of them, but fingers crossed I've had the same impact on her that she's had on me.

the first time I heard about P-Funk was when my dad picked me up from school and was playing one of their CDs he'd borrowed from a friend at work. I must've been like 8.
