Titane (Julia Ducournau, Oct. 1, 2021) Movie

New film from the director of "Raw." Getting rave reviews out of Cannes. No U.S. release date yet but NEON is putting it out so it will likely be sometime this year. There's not even an official synopsis yet but from the reviews it sounds like... a lot. (And if you haven't seen "Raw" you should fix that soon.)

 

This just won the Palme d'Or lol y'all better get hype

 

Cannot wait. Love Raw, will need to rewatch that again soon.

This is as wild as advertised. Loved it.

 

This is fucking unreal. I went into this blind and I am so glad that I did; there is a surprising amount of emotional weight in this! Vincent Lindon's performance is absolutely heartbreaking -- the pain his character is internally enduring and the way he conveys emotion through facial expressions alone -- bravo, Julia Ducournau. Seeing this again ASAP. 9/10

Raw was one of my favorite films of 2016, stoked to see this. Going to try to see it this weekend.
