Long Since Forgotten has a new single up! If you're a fan of Pop/rock/emo from the early-mid 2000's.

I highly recommend their albums from that time. "All the Things You Said" and "Standing Room Only" the albums were both on Rocketstar Recordings (same label that released This Providence "Our World's Divorce" and Acceptance "Lost for Words" ep's once upon a time)

The song "Looking Glass" is one of my all time favorite songs.

Everyone should give Strand of Oaks a try. His stuff is so great. Indie folksy bluesy rock with killer vocals.

is that EITS release a full album? I'll need to check that out. So far I had Hovvdy and illuminati hottie listed and I'm on it.

I've listened to the deluxe version of "Live Forever" by Bartees Strange as well, there's some bonus content, though the track "Kelly Rowland" has got some new hip hop features, but is changed to "Free Kelly Rowland" and doesn't include that Nelly "Dilemma" sample. Maybe somebody knows if it's because of the royalties or what? ;d

Pretty weak week.

Is there a band called Weak Week? Cuz there should be.

 

Going to share this in here. If anyone is into just some more chill/ambient electronic music, my brother released his first LP today. He's a self-confessed "non-musician" but he's written for a handful of legitimate sites and his music taste is pretty wild - especially to me who sticks pretty closely to indie/rock. I'm really proud of him and his ambition to try his hand at this.

Found for free, via this bandcamp link . I'm sure he'd appreciate a listen if you had some time today.

 

Quite good, I'm in the middle now and there's plenty of cool elements throughout. The RIYL was a good hint to convince me, the vocals do sound a bit like Bright Eyes / Animal Flag etc., and there's some Restorations or even Piebald vibes too.
