My new lady gives me motivational pep talks before my games. Complete opposite of how I expected it to go.

My girl does what I tell her to do.

 

My wife encourages me to play. When you live with someone and you are around someone a lot, it is good to have your own things that you can do. I guess that's why a lot of guys have man caves.

 

Such a good point, very healthy to have things to break up the day and also give you things that are YOUR thing.

 

If taytay can't play today I'm fine with simming the Ravens redskins game. He is east cost and I'm west coast which seems to be difficult scheduling. I think we should have something like every 3 or 4 days it gets simmed no matter what.

 

I was at school from 10-330, Ill be at work from 4-10, so We can play after that?

I guess if not you can play the cpu or something.

 

To be fair, I was barely in the league last year as well. I figured I would pick up the game and play it and see how I liked it and after nailing a solid day of gameplay in I just decided it wasn't worth it anymore. I love the league and the thread but with the mixture of the game not being fun and not as many old heads in here anymore I just decided it's best to stay away rather than join and rejoin a bunch. The league does look pretty strong this year I hope it thrives.

Not sure if it's advanced or not but let's just sim it. It's be too hard to fit it in now. Hectic for sure. No worries

 

What do you think of making the quarters a little longer? Is that something we can do mid season or maybe in the offseason?

 

I'm all for it. At least to like 7 minutes or maybe change the run off time too. I think I can lower that to where it doesn't run 20 seconds off. Maybe like 10-15.

Most of us are in favor of longer quarters, I have played with 15 minute quarters 14 second run off, that feels like a normal madden, I've also played with 8 minute quarters no run off and that is about the same but has the ability of being shorter by chewing the clock. It would also be cool to mess with the xp sliders but then I feel like I'm asking for too much ;)

 

I'll need time to get home... 10:30 to be safe (it's a kitchen so it takes a second to close it up and leave)

 

Awesome. I'm ok with whatever the rest of the crew wants. The longer the better for me lol
