I'm enjoying Mafia 2, but man is it a bit of step backwards from the first. Not really drawn to the story on this one yet.

started Shadow of Mordor, pretty fun so far, very assassins creed feel to the combat and controls. glad it seems to only be about a 15-20 hour story though because I can see the gameplay loop getting stale

 

after paying $10/mo for Gamepass idk if I should get Horizon Zero Dawn on sale for $30 or not ahh

 

It's great and ends before it wears out its welcome

Good insight from Peer about the history of the site and games. I know a lot of people dislike IGN (and their new Super Monkey Ball review which is absurd might give you good reason) but I like them as a whole and I think a lot of good and talented people work there. Interesting to read for sure.

IGN was my main news source for a long long time until I started getting jaded by them. Still have respect for them and the fact that they've been around for so long.

Something like that would be wild. I think the only reason this happened is because it's Twisted Metal and they can take a hit even if it turns out badly.

 

And I'm just being honest, how different would it really be from Destruction All-stars if made from the same company?

 

They need to make an animated twisted metal show or something

 

Not surprised, Destruction All-Stars seems now like a pretty obvious audition for Twisted Metal
