How exactly did you do that?!! I may need to mess around with it later. The text on that looks great and most of those festival name generators come out super janky.

On a related note: How nice would it be if Riot Fest released a "festival line-up generator" thing like this? It's fun to do in general, but it always irks me that it's in the Coachella layout. Haha.

 

I went to this site Festival Poster Generator. I think it works great. You can customize the background, so you might be able to pull off a Riot Fest-themed prediction poster.

 

So I did something way too early. I'm probably way off, but this is half wishlist/half prediction.

MCR sold it alone for me. I do hope the days have a few bands I like tossed in tho. This will be my first real festival of a big size and actually traveling out for it! Years of reading these threads got me super pumped.

i'm seeing MCR in Newark in 2022 like a week after this festival so, iiiidk if it'll happen for me. we just did 3 days at firefly and that was expensive enough all in and we drove to it. factoring in flights and airBBs/hotels, yeeesh.

 

that Friday would be one of the craziest Riot days ever for me, saturday i could rest but still see amazing stuff, but right back to a wild sunday! so yes please!

 

No Devotion hasn't played before, right? They've already announced one festival for next year and I'd love to finally see them.

 

Is No Devotion back? That would be a cool addition to Riot!

 

What I find interesting about Riot Fest is that there's inevitably 2-3 decent sized reunions/"doesn't tour very often" acts that will pop up. Ones that nobody is even thinking of really... Until it actually happens. Then people are stoked.

Devo is a great example from this year. Sure, there's people who always want them. But nobody really thought/knew it was going to happen until it was announced they'd be at PRB.

And then there's the low-key reunions that are special to a select few (Bollweevils this year; Cobra Skulls in 2018). Fake Problems would be perfect for that in 2022 with a late afternoon set on Rebel. Hopefully on a day that also has the Menzingers, PUP, Jeff Rosenstock and a few of their other friends who have gotten significantly bigger since they broke-up. Haha.

 

I remember bands have played one-off shows for Riot like Enigne 88 in 2017 or Spitalfield in 2018.

Mark Hoppus is cancer free!!! I hope this means he’s healthy to play shows again soon, and that Blink could be in play to perform next year
