Lol this is good and bad - As soon as my current employer found out i was going to go across town to another division for an interview they offered me a new position at like a 25% raise. That's great, but man it feels like they were just underpaying me for years for no reason

Oh well. I'm thankful, just wish it happened sooner. Been with them since I was like 16 years old

I’m drunk and I’m a happy drunk so this post may come off as cheesy / sound like an old man “back in my day” post but technology / steaming services.

It’s easy to be unhappy with something like the HBO Max app and such but like, look at what it brings you for $15 a month! There used to be a time when the only way to watch HBO shows was to hope your parents cable package included it or wait and buy each season for $30+ every year or the entire series (if they did it at all for a few hundred). Now, I can sit on my couch and immediately start a series or watch the first episode of every season with a few presses of a button. It will never not make me dumbfounded.
