I think this processor might be faster than they let on. I’m coming from a regular 12 and this feels way smoother, not just the hz.

Actually the alarm thing is definitely a bug. Turns out it IS going off, just ridiculously quietly. A regular alarm (Radar sound) makes one very loud noise and then goes nearly silent afterward. If anyone with this issue finds a workaround let me know because it’s going to be bad for me if I can’t rely on my phone as an alarm.

Edit: Turns out the drop in volume is triggered when FaceID fails to unlock the phone (a haptic pulse happens and the alarm immediately drops to minimum volume). That’s why it seemed to work with a regular alarm yesterday — I was holding the phone, so it unlocked successfully. Going to fill out a bug report but I guess in the meantime I’ll experiment with (gulp) turning off FaceID

 

That sucks :(

Able to snag a 13 Pro 128gb Graphite this morning since Verizon was giving me $999 for my 12 Pro there was no reason not too. Have a clear case and sequoia green MagSafe wallet coming in hopefully it matches the green watch 7 later this fall.

 

Client had the gall to schedule a 9am meeting on iPhone release day so I have to wait til after to go pick mine up I’m hot

Not patiently waiting for my delivery!!!

 

My phone was delivered to the package room here about an hour ago, and now I'm just waiting for FedEx to deliver my replacement watch so I can pick both up at the same time.

 

Oh god I have the "Follow Delivery" map on UPS. Cancel any and all work I needed to get done for the day.
