I have mixed feelings about Simu Liu's and Awkafina's respective controversies. It's more like "Well that's kind of shitty, so you should probably address it," and not outright "That's very shitty, you should be canceled." While, yes, accountability would be nice, I'm a bit relieved to see that Shang Chi is still doing well in the box office. Maybe Disney/Marvel don't see these as big enough issues to do anything, which may or may not be a good thing idk.
