Can you not swipe right to open notifications from the Lock Screen on iOS 15 anymore?

Swipe up in the middle of the lock screen. I think swiping right has been opening the today/widget screen for a while now.

 

I want the 13 Pro sooooo baaaddddd

 

If you swiped right on a notification itself on the lock screen, it would open that specific notification, even as of 14.8

I know you can open a message or whatever from the lock screen just by tapping on it, but for whatever reason my muscle memory has always been swiping right on it for years now

Definitely cool but sad it is only 1080 @ 30p, not even 24. I think once they get to 4K @ 24 it will be a lot more exciting. Maybe next year or 2023.
ProRes video is more of gimmick imo. Huge file sizes that need to be transferred over slow USB 2.0 or bluetooth, as well without removeable storage. Both things make it far less "pro". It's nice that the iPhone can do that, but to me as great as the iPhone 13 is unless it gets a USB-C Thunderbolt port, it is not ready to use it in a efficient (i.e. professional) manner.

 

My dumb short thumbs should be a fan of the bottom bar on safari now but I just can’t get used to it.

Oh lol. I thought you meant the swipe to access ALL of your notifications. My bad. Yeah, the lack of right swipe on a notification stinks.

 

No more saddle brown case :/ … it’s a yellow-y “Golden Brown” now.

As someone who uses Chrome on iOS and not Safari, the new design is really cool - not even to get me to convert over but still a great idea that works much faster/easier on the thumbs.

 

u can switch back to regular in settings

 

You can also hit the aA on the address/search bar and switch between top and bottom bar from there.

 

The 1Password extension is everything

 

the background sound for music is a nice little touch

 

Away on business trip and staying in a hotel. Must have tried about 8 times to install ios15. Go to bed and see it shut off. Now I ended up staying up to make sure it doesn’t fuck up and miss my flight ✈️
