Also, it looks like Kyle made a post about the anniversary shows so I’m assuming that means there’s no way the original lineup will be back? Maybe there will be some of the guys but if Kyle is promoting it I am sure he’s involved.

 

yeah I doubt he'd ditch Kyle but since they're only officially a two piece they could potentially add Gordon or Mike

 

Gordon on these shows would make my year. Mel seems least likely and I think Mike has played with Nate/Kyle on a couple of occasions so that’s possible for sure.

 

The Season deluxe edition pre-orders tomorrow with reimagined acoustic version of the album.

 

Excited for this, hoping it's even remotely as good as the acoustic demos and daytrotter sessions

Also sad there's no mention of the two bsides. I was really hoping there'd be a demo comp for the anniversary called "Not Quite The Season"

Even though I have the 2015 press, I bought this version because I need that reimagined version badly.

Just walked into the show and the front bottoms are playing the bigger room at this venue. I was wondering why so many fucking people were here lol.

They always do that for shows in heaven. We stood in the end of it for a minute thinking it was the purgatory line ha.

Not gonna lie I got kind of emotional as soon as they started playing My Friends. Fuck I missed live music and I forgot how much this record means to me.

Thought we were getting Water and God when they came out for the encore which was dumb in retrospect. They probably haven’t played that since the Season release shows, ha.

 

What a great show. Love how many people were into it too. The crowd isn’t always this fun. So glad I made this trip!!!

 

does anyone know if there is a full band recording of this song out there anywhere? I am familiar with the day trotter session.

 

I’m pretty sure there was a demo of it floating around for a while but I don’t think they ever released a legit version of it.

 

I would very much like to hear that if you stumble upon it.
