I was at the Cards-Padres tonight fuck yeah what a blast. Didn't see the Machado-Tatis dustup since I was up high behind home haha

But in addition to an awesome win, it was reunion night for the 2011 WS team: Freese, Carpenter, Berkman, Furcal, Motte, etc etc. Probably last Cards game I'll go in 2021 and it was a good one!

Also maybe this is an unpopular take but I think Manny was doing what you'd want a veteran to do in that situation tbh. He shouldn't have screamed and sworn at Tatis sure but we're not pro athletes lol, we don't know what it's like to get heated in that moment. He was tryna get Tatis to calm down after he almost got tossed arguing a strike call (that ump was true garbage and it hurt both teams) and you'd rather have Tatis run on the field pissed at Manny than at the ump and say something on his way to SS that gets him tossed. Need Fernando to stay in the game at all costs

Now I think Tatis made a costly error not long after that but also he just does that sometimes
