I need to convince my wife I need this vinyl now lol I was being good and not getting any new releases but I feel like this one is an exception.

 

I guess I'm alone in my love for "The Dreamer." It gives me those trademark Thrice chills.

 

starting my first listen ever (mostly skipped the singles) and The Color of the Sky is already the best this band has sounded in ages.

The first 6 songs are amazing.

The dreamer lowers the level a bit, to end with two wonders such as Robot Soft Exorcism and Dandelion Wine. The last song I take as something anecdotal.

 

I wanted to know that too for the CD. Ended up buying on bandcamp so i don't gave to wait.
I remember a while back, they sent out a mistaken download email

 

Still Life and The Dreamer are a bit of a letdown compared to the rest, but I think they will grow on me.

 

Dandelion Wine is some serious stuff.

 

Lyrics on Unitive are my favorite Thrice lyrics in a decade.

The first half of this thing may be the strongest 5-song run these guys have had, just incredible stuff (Buried in the Sun! Northern Lights!!). Still Life and Unitive are the only 2 tracks not totally clicking with me yet, but I still dig them both.

 

Halfway through and I’m really enjoying still life. It’s like the song circles mixed the fire ep. so good.

 

Northern Lights' groove is ridiculous.

 

Does anyone know what, if anything, is being sung? The Bandcamp download includes lyrics for every song but that one.

Nah, the first 5 songs are immaculate.

 

Never thought “this Thrice song sounds like Mouse on the Keys” would be a sentence I would type but here Northern Lights is, existing. Pretty cool imo
